Morgantown and Monongalia County,
West Virginia

Monongalia County, with a population of 88,000 people, is located in the north central part of West Virginia. Morgantown, the county seat, is the educational, medical, cultural and commercial hub of the region. Morgantown is home to West Virginia University, one of the top 100 research universities in the country, with an enrollment of over 28,000 students.
